iPhone OS 3.0 Release. What’s new?

This update contains over 100 new features, including the following:

• «Cut», «Copy» and «Paste» commands with a function of lifting by shaking
• The keypad in a horizontal position in key programs
• Improved «SMS / MMS»
- Send and receive images, contacts, audio and location links by MMS *

iPhone 4G New Features Review

iphone1Being one of the most popular mobile devices of modern times, there is constantly much speculation about the release date of the next version of iPhone. Two versions have been released so far – iPhone 1G was launched on June 29, 2007, and iPhone 3G, the second generation iPhone, was introduced on the 11th of July 2008. If you keep track of events in mobile industry, then rumours about a new version of the iPhone OS, version 3.0 which is to appear soon don’t seem strange to you. Apple announced that the new version (unless you join the developer program) will support over 100 new features that we’re all excited about. Some of the biggest updates include:

  • Push notifications will be standard in iPhone 3.0. Apple claims that there was a scaling issue when they first announced this feature last year, with thousands of developers clamoring to use it, so it had to be delayed. Developers will be able to build message, sound, and badge alerts into their applications. (more…)
