Mobile industry boasts loads of companies offering diverse solutions for iPad and Best Web Design Agencies aim to pick companies with the most creative, cutting-edge and efficient ideas.

Creating its rankings researches from Best Web Design Agencies follow the number of criteria which focus on the most crucial aspects of iPad development and feature the general services provided by iPad developers, as well as the expectations in the industry.

The most crucial criterion is the quality level of the developed application. It should attain the universal standards of quality set by the vast majority of iPad apps already submitted to App Store.

Vendor’s track record also plays important role in the choice of the best iPad developers. Researchers check carefully all rejected apps and the reasons they could not be submitted to App Store.

The design of the application is the third evaluation criterion. To be called the best iPad developer company should deliver professionally designed products with attractive user-friendly interface.

Obviously, robust customer support is what makes mobile solutions efficient and profitable. Therefore the approach to clients and the ability to provide qualified 24/7 support is considered by Best Web Design Agencies as one of the key evaluation criteria.

Last but not least, researches look into QA procedures making sure apps developers are able to provide profound testing before the application is released.

It’s nice to know that the Intellectsoft iPad solutions fulfill all these requirements and we are ranked No. 2 in the Top 10 Best iPad Developers. However, we have a serious reason to double our efforts in order to reach the first place next year.

About Best Web Design Agencies

Best Web Design Agencies is the independent international authority on web design agencies located in the United States, UK, Canada and Australia. The app will help you in case of a break down (though we sincerely hope you’ll never face one), as well as it will assist in planning trafficless journey with its Traffic Update feature. GEM Motoring Assist has already been chosen as ‘App of the Week’ in one of the best and most widely-read motoring magazines — Auto Express.

If you run (or to be more exact, drive) into trouble…

Surely, we hope you’ll never get in any kind of a road accident, it happens sometimes. The GEM will help greatly if you break down. The Assist Me feature will show your location on a map using GPS. Observe your location and touch the ‘Assist Me’ call button. This will dial directly to the Rescue Centre where you can tell the operator exactly where you are to ensure help will soon be on the way.

A dream journey is a journey without traffic congestion

Want to avoid traffic congestion on your way home/to work/elsewhere? Plan ahead to ensure that you get there on time. Simply select ‘traffic updates’ from the menu and you can view traffic alerts near your location or any location in the UK. Zoom out to see more alerts further away. Select any pin and read details of that incident.

Some more handy features

GEM also includes such useful features as My Renewals and Good Morning. With My Renewals you will never have to browse through those old documents again to find out when those important motoring essentials are due. All you need to do is enter your renewal details and this motoring diary will remind you three weeks before you are due to renew. Good Motoring is a perfect way to keep in touch with GEM as this feature will provide you with different articles, company news, info on the latest polls and competitions. Check out our portfolio for more information about GEM Motoring Assist.

Haven’t heard about GEM Motoring Assist Company?

Originally established in 1932 as the Company of Veteran Motorists to combat the increasing number of road accidents, GEM Motoring Assist is the UK’s leading driving based Road Safety association with around 70,000 members. All set a good example on the road by agreeing to drive with care, courtesy and concentration.

GEM Motoring Assist app is available on <a

Who knew four years past the App Store will hit 25 billion downloads? Yet Apple has excelled itself again. Nowadays, the mobile apps are in-thing, and we’ve got used to them so much, we can hardly live a day without using at least one or two apps.

With the increase in the number of iPhones, iPod touches and iPads up to 315 million, the number of apps have risen too. Today’s expected unveiling of the iPad 3 is set to spark another app-buying frenzy. Billions more apps have been downloaded for rival systems such as Android, Blackberry and Windows Phone 7.

Right now there are more than 550 thousand free and paid-for apps on the store (though, while you’re reading this post the number might have increased again). Actually, Intellectsoft had a hand in the process with CatNav, Pocket Physio, CarDaddy and many other great apps.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said: "We’d like to thank our customers and developers for helping us achieve this historic milestone of 25 billion apps downloaded. When we launched the App Store less than four years ago, we never imagined that mobile apps would become the phenomenon they have, or that developers would create such an incredible selection of apps for iOS users.”

Indeed, the speed at which apps are being sold is stark given that the 10 billionth app was downloaded as recently as last January.

It seems like a serious reason to celebrate, doesn’t it? Well, being quite a unique company with an unmatched approach to everything they do Apple celebrates 25bln download launching a new App Store category. The “Catalogs” could be a tantalising glimpse of something bigger to be unveiled tonight at the launch of the next-generation iPad. The experts have already called this release a bit premature, because listing particular apps this category doesn’t feature in the store's front window. Besides, there’s no category home page for «Catalogs» at time of writing. The reclassification even surprised a UK dev house whose fashion store app has been recategorised to the new Catalogs section.

Maybe this new section is just a way to tidy up the Lifestyle shelf, which bowed under the great range of shopping apps of all kinds (TopShop, Tesco and Groupon mixed with the likes of Get a Girl, SpareRoom and iBaby Feed Timer). Also, the new Catalog category may be a new way to lure users to shop via iOS devices. Anyway, only Apple knows exactly what they are doing and they’re doing it well (most of the time).

Get the Cream of App Store with our New App!

Apps

Blog

iPad

iPhone

press release
<guid

Despite the doubts raised by some observers, iPhone was released on June, 29, 2007 and broke all the popularity records, becoming trendsetter on the smartphone market.

We owe the progress in smartphone industry exactly to iPhone, as due to this Apple’s device smartphones around the world gave up stylus in favour of fingers, got huge touch-screen panels and mobile application development was taken to the whole new level with the App Store. By the way, Apple App Store is still the most prominent and profitable platform for mobile apps delivery.

For these five years Apple has launched five versions of its famous smartphone (iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S), continuously extending its market share, which in the USA reaches 36% and in Europe – 20-30%.

By the way, being part of the iPhone Developer Program, we, at Intellectsoft, have immediate access to the most up-to-date development utilities and iPhone operating system software ahead of the release schedules. This results in a pleasant bonus for our clients: no more need to apply for membership when releasing content to the App Store; we'll take it upon ourselves to make sure the deployment is completed swiftly and the content is promptly released to countless iPhone users from around the world. However, we realise that some might desire to become members of the iPhone Developer Program themselves, in which case we'll gladly help in opening this account and submitting a thorough application.

Please, take a look at Intellectsoft , are always staying in tune with the latest technologies; therefore we already can work with the new iOS version.

However, things are not all so great with this new iOS 5.0.1. Hardly had Apple released the update, the users took to its support forums to complain that they were continuing to experience battery issues despite having downloaded the update and having reset their phones. The famous tech resource Mashable conducted a poll, its results show that: 37% (3 772 votes) of respondents are still facing the same problems with the battery charge, 22% (2240 votes) claimed that the situation got worse, 14% (1424 votes) agreed that the problem was fixed and 26% (2 714) claim they have never had any battery issues (probably they have never had iOS-based devices either).

It’s peculiar that the recent complaints are similar at some extant to the ones made after upgrade to version 5. Apple claimed the problem was a software issue, and the iOS 5.0.1 update was issued to address it.

In their official statement to AllThingsD. Apple stated: “The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”

There’s no doubt that Apple will keep improving its iOS and in time it will finally meet users’ expectations and will align with its sky-high price. The question is how soon will we be celebrating the event?

All in all, Intellectsoft wishes iOS users patience and reminds that from now on our brainy developers’ team can work with this iOS version (5.0.1).

Dual-Core Graphics Chip for iPhone and iPad

iPad

iPhone

Smartphones

Tablets
<guid

It will result in far better video processing and will enable the device to ensure a decent output of an HD-signal with its HDMI port.

Rumor or not, but they say that both devices can count on as much as an ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor, too. Suppose they have it – the overall efficiency of iPhone and iPad will shoot up.

The new iPad 2 is planned to be presented in April, and iPhone 5, which supposedly will be modified and redesigned greatly, will shock the audience in June. Moreover, iPhone 5 is predicted to have a multi-core processor. This will enable the device to perform most challenging computing and support sophisticated games and applications, as well as HD audio, image and video processing.

Which makes us think: isn’t iPhone’s progress going too quickly? And if it takes iPhone designers so little time to modify such a complicated device so quickly – why don’t we enjoy the same frequency PC upgrades?

Tablet Year of 2011

Android

iPad

Tablets
<guid

In technology world there appear the best and the worst gadgets, trends, projects, software, the top fives, tens, dozens and hundreds of this and that.

The transition from 2010 to 2011 is less dramatic than the one coming next year said to be apocalyptic, so high-tech bets and predictions are more topical than ever.

One of the very few things forecasters agree on is the anticipation of the roughest tablet competition in the year of 2011.
The Android-powered devices are highly competitive these days, and most likely their popularity will mount greatly. Apple Inc., however, will retain its leadership according to the world’s best analysts.

It has been evident that, although implemented into a variety of business processes, tablets have still been used mostly for individual needs and entertainment. Therefore, it is now a matter of entertaining content for end users, as it is obvious that technically the devices are capable of doing pretty much every necessary thing nowadays. Application development race will definitely replace the hardware competition.

Gaming is the industry to be in. Pluggable into big screen plasma TVs, tablets are not attempting to replace play stations, but do require longer, more sophisticated games. So far Android developers have impressed users with games like Heavy Gunner, Dungeon Hunter, Crusade of Destiny and Need for Speed Shift. iPads are boasting a wave of HD games, like The Syndicate! HD and Guerrilla Bob HD, and both games are embodying the thorough awareness of the users’ need for original soundtracks, multiplayer support and cross-device playing.
The content originality, so vital for any device, is lifting the standards of the new tablets and is opening immense opportunities for development companies.

One can hardly eliminate the hardware aspect though. While smartphones are converging to size minimums, tablets are growing continuously. And we’re not talking about the iPad from London’s St. Pancras International Train Station that has 56 small devices placed side by side to transmit a kaleidoscopic picture. We’re talking about tablets with 12-inch screens, like Fujitsu DL Pad and larger ones.

And tablets are longing to be treated individually. It is no longer enough to modify slightly the phone operation systems.
The new year of 2011 will certainly surprise us with utmost features, and hopefully the radicalism will not go absurd.

Tablet Wars Are Coming

Android

iPad

Tablets

Galaxy Tablet
<guid

But that was just the beginning as iPad is the first in a long line of the likes. At the moment Apple is quite confidently occupying the top position at the nascent tablet market and is hardly to welcome any competition. Nevertheless, multiple competitors are coming, eager to get their own piece of the pie and a share in enormous profits Apple is enjoying.

According to the statistics, gathered by Jobs’ company, so far it has sold about 3 million gadgets which is quite a figure. Its closest competitor – Samsung’s Galaxy Pad – which Steve Jobs called “dead on arrival” announced about 600,000 of its devices sold or shipped in the first month of sales. Adding Dell’s Streak and HP’s Windows running tablet to the list we’ll get quite an impressive picture which signals that the war actions at the tablet market have already been unleashed.

It is quite evident that so far Apple’s iPad is winning is all spheres as the company managed to deliver an exceptionally quality device supported by powerful iPad application development process. Android tablets which either have already been delivered to the market or are yet to come this year have been a real disappointment. Some analysts and reviewers go as far as to call them hardly more than a piece of junk. The only exception to the rule is Samsung’s Galaxy – a hot something between a regular smartphone and a mini-tablet. And again it just comes close to the iPad but it’s not any better than the Apple’s device. Given it costs as much as the iPad and has a smaller screen, most users would prefer the fabulous gadget from Apple.

Windows tablets could have been a hit this year, as the OS is quite reliable and rather familiar for the majority of office workers. Unfortunately, due to some reasons HP was not a success this year. However, maybe it will be able to make another try before its closest competitors deliver their own gadgets.

To make a long story short, it is quite reasonable to wait for second generation tablets which are to come to the market next year and improve the shortcomings of the current devices. Or to buy an iPad if waiting seems to be that unbearable.
