Apple has set lots of trends lately and one of the most popular is iPhone application development. Long lines down streets in London have been one of the signs that Apple’s magic toy has been a hit once again. Besides Britain, the device was also unveiled Friday in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain and Switzerland.

The US government has finally taken notice of Apple’s attempts to block its competitors with all possible means and tools. The US Federal Trade Commission and the US Department of Justice are likely to start antitrust proceedings against Apple for anti-competitive practices.

The international shipping of the iPad has been delayed. Disappointed international iPad fans are to blame “surprisingly strong US demand” that has outstripped Apple’s ability to produce the new gadget.

Pre-orders for late April as well as people lining up in front of Apple brand stores on April 3-d, more than 300,000 iPads sold on the first day, it seemed that everything could give ground to call the gadget a complete game-changer. The official release date for the so long awaited and much rumoured Apple iPad is to be April 3rd, with the 3G model coming later in the month,  but the mentioned gadgets are  already sold out like hot cakes.  Although the lucky ones to get the magical “Adult Toy” are only those living in the US. The rest of the world will enjoy the fabulous product of iPad developers (2 models at once, a usual one  and a 3G) somewhere in late April.
