The customer is one of the largest banks in Russia and is a significant player on the deposit market in the CIS region.
Finding qualified staff is never easy. In this case, the customer had invested considerable cost and effort into their recruitment initiatives but were not satisfied with the return on investment. The client came to Intellectsoft knowing they needed help in bringing a more sophisticated web solution to life. This web solution would need to facilitate improved organization of their HR processes and provide a custom search engine to locate resumes and vacancies. They would also need to communicate with employee assessment service providers and synchronize the results.
Intellectsoft’s answer was to unite the existing human resources department and records of potential new hires into a single corporate recruitment portal. Following extensive user research, the decision was made to segment by user role. Each user was given an account with contact information, work history, feedback, and more. Based on those user accounts, HR was able to consolidate candidate data and take advantage of an improved search function with customizable tags. This also allowed HR to directly update candidate statuses, check resumes, and manage vacancies. Additional assets included skill test results (added to the portal via Windows Communication Foundation) and easier communication with employee assessment service providers.
Our team successfully launched the corporative career portal and ensured immediate implementation. By removing the need for making changes to the system with each new test type, the client was able to significantly reduce maintenance costs. Currently the customer has committed to the development of further versions of the application to enrich the possibilities of the new portal.
